Stand for Youth is a local initiative based in Lebanon, that emerged from a deep-rooted understanding of the persistent issues facing Lebanon’s youth, start-ups, and MSMEs, as identified through extensive research conducted by various local NGOs and international NGOs operating in Lebanon. Our initiation was powered by the recognition of three critical challenges: the sustainability of projects, the lack of innovation, and the necessity for impactful interventions.

Sustainability: Too often, projects operate within fixed timeframes, lacking the necessary mechanisms to sustain their impact beyond their initial duration. This leads to a discontinuation of services, mainly due to financial constraints and inadequate follow-up from funding organizations. Stand for Youth seeks to address this issue by fostering collaborations that extend beyond timed boundaries, ensuring that initiatives remain viable and impactful in the long term.

Impact: While many organizations prioritize achieving end goals, the true measure of success lies in the lasting impact created for participants and communities. Stand for Youth recognizes the importance of going beyond mere funding acquisition and focuses on social and economic impact.

Innovation: Project design often fails to understand the full potential of innovation, resulting in missed opportunities for sustainable solutions. Stand for Youth advocates for an innovative shift, where projects are not only aligned with donor requirements but also embrace innovative approaches to enhance sustainability and impact.
